Blair Basketball Club to serve boys & girls in grades 4-8—170+ youth in all–18 teams!

The BLAIR BASKETBALL CLUB invites you to join them in a mission to give Blair boys and girls every opportunity to improve their basketball skills. LAST YEAR the Club supported seventeen boys/girls teams (160+ players) in grades 5-8 to the tune of $11,819 for league and/or tournament opportunities. We need your help to reduce costs to families whose sons and daughters participate and to help make program improvements.

The Club is totally reliant on fund raising and player fees.

Any size donation is meaningful to us.

The dreams of young boys and girls playing BLAIR BEAR BASKETBALL begin in Youth Club teams each year. These dreams continue as players progress through their participation on school teams.

BHS boys’ coach, Scott Flynn, and BHS girls’ coach Shawn Ekwall work with young players throughout the summer and during the season to strengthen ball handling, dribbling, passing, and shooting skills.

This year, Blair boys’ basketball head coach, Scott Flynn, and girls’ head coach Shawn Ekwall seek to build on experience gained last year and to combine that with a dedicated effort this past summer, to improve the Bears competitive play. The ultimate goal: the CLASS B STATE TOURNAMENT!!!

Basketball Club fundraisers include: community solicitation, sales of coupon books featuring area businesses, and separate boys/girls youth tournaments. We are very appreciative of our sponsors!!

The support many of you have given through the years has helped to keep players’ dreams alive. We encourage others to consider joining our vision of exciting basketball teams in Blair, Nebraska. The Basketball Club aids the efforts of our school programs by raising funds to support Blair basketball players, grades 4-8, in league and tournament play. The Basketball Club works to make opportunities affordable.

We are very appreciative of all the causes you support in our community. Thank you for considering our efforts to help Blair’s young basketball players reach their dreams!
